- Equipping graduates to have mathematical thinking, high creativity, and innovation, various alternatives to solve a problem, science communication in oral and written, and the capability to develop themselves and their potential.
- Developing research in the field of mathematics and its application for the benefit of the wider community
- Empowering networking with alumni in increasing the role of the institution, building collaborative initiatives with other institutions at local, regional, national, and international to increase the relevance of graduates and the image of the institution

- Organizing research-based master’s level education in mathematics
- Organizing education with the principles of quality assurance management with integrity
- Organizing quality community service (PKM) as the implementation of research in the field of mathematics
- Empower networking and partnerships in a sustainable manner with the principle of equality involving the academic community and other stakeholders.
- Increasing the quality and quantity of mathematical research and its applications, both as scientific development and as a contribution to solving problems in social life
- Implement an education management system that refers to the principles of quality assurance of higher education: credible, honest, responsible, transparent and accountable at all stages
- Prepare graduates with master’s qualifications as professionals in the field of mathematics who are able to compete at national and international levels
- Provide a solid foundation for scientific development for graduates who will continue their studies at doctoral level
