The Purposes of Academic Counseling
- To help students develop their potential so that the students concerned can complete their studies promptly and obtain optimal academic achievement, the dean through the head of the study program appoints lecturers as academic supervisors for these students.
- Academic Advisors, together with study programs, are required to carry out periodic and continuous monitoring and evaluation of the academic activities of the students they supervise, as well as take the necessary steps to assist these students to complete their studies within the stipulated timeframe and be able to obtain optimal academic achievement.
- Academic guidance to students is carried out at least 4 (four) times in one semester, namely at the beginning of the semester (1 time), mid-semester (2 times), and the end of the semester (1 time).
- Provisions and procedures for academic guidance are determined by the University
