Research Visit and Collaboration Math UNS-UM

Through the International I-TOP 100 Research Grant, the Department of Mathematics, in collaboration with the Departments of Industrial Engineering and Physics, conducted a research visit and served as expert contributors at the University of Malaya, Malaysia, Top 100 world university.

We visited the Department of Decision Science in the Faculty of Economics [Prof. Suhaiza Zailani] and the Institute of Mathematical Sciences in the Faculty of Science [Prof. Zailan Siri] from May 7th to May 9th, 2024. The two main collaborations included joint publications on circular economy models and team teaching for four courses: Game Theory, Complex Functions, Data Analytics, and Operations Management.

Additionally, we visited the International Office, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and the Department of Physics.

In the future, we aim to explore other possibilities for collaboration, such as MOA, sabbatical leaves, organizing international conferences, students and staff exchange, and securing international funding.
